Indigent Health

Caprock Community Action Association, inc. contracts with the South Plains Workforce Development Board to assist the eligible Choices/TANF clients to prepare and enter the workforce. This contract provides these services to residents in Crosby, Floyd, Dickens, Hale, Motley and King counties.

Services include classes in:

  • Job Readiness
  • Resume Writing
  • Interviewing Skills
  • Life Skills
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Job Retention

All eligible participants must meet income guidelines and reside in one of the CCAA service counties. They must agree to particpate in one of the eligible activities for 30 hours a week. CCAA can provide Job Placement through On the Job Training and Work Experience. Once a client has secured employment, supportive services may be provided in order for the client to maintain the job.
