Homelessness Prevention Assistance
Applies to individuals and families who are not homeless by definition, but are at risk of homelessness through eviction, foreclosure, or utility termination.

Criteria to be approved for the program

  • Proof of Income
  • Social Security Card
  • ID Verification

Additional documentation needed for deposit/rental assistance:

  • Sudden reduction in income
    Need 4 check stubs showing reduction or statement from employer stating loss of hours or employment
  • Notice of eviction
    Statement from landlord
  • How are rental payments going to be resumed?
    Statement from employer stating new employment or stating more hours will be guaranteed/HUD statement
